Two old caravans have been turned in to The Ruins, two cute and rustic cabins on part of the site of the old Tokomaru Bay Freezing Works. Abandoned since the 1950's, the majority of the Work's site is over grown, graffitied and derelict, a real scene for photographers. Tokomaru Bay is one of our favourite spots on the East Coast.
